Description
The product is introduced into a feed hopper, from which it is carried into a pipeline by an airflow generated by a blower. Throughout the conveying path, the airflow keeps the product suspended, allowing it to reach the discharge point. At the end of the system, a vacuum separator (or cyclone separator) separates the product from the airflow. The product is discharged from the bottom into the next stage of the process, while the air is exhausted through the top.
The system is sized according to the conveying distance, required throughput, and product characteristics.
