Dry cleaning trommel

The product is fed into the machine by an electromagnetic feeder to ensure a uniform flow throughout the process. Inside the machine, a rotating perforated-sheet cylinder and a radial shaft cause the product pieces to rub against one another, releasing the smallest particles. These pass through the perforated sheet, whose holes are 5 mm in diameter, and fall by gravity to the lower section of the machine, where an auger removes them. The machine provides the necessary cleaning stage before washing and blanching, reducing water and steam consumption during these processes.
