Description
The whole, preconditioned product is fed into the machine through the feed hopper located at the top. This machine slices whole, wet or heated almonds, either with or
without their skins.
The flow of product is regulated at the hopper by an electromagnetic feeder with an adjustable potentiometer. The feeder tray is fitted with dividers to distribute the product to be sliced. As the product approaches the blades, it moves along grooves that hold it in place so that it can be cut correctly.
With each cut, the product advances through these grooves, undergoing successive cuts and gradually decreasing in size. The resulting slices fall through the discharge outlet into the next machine.
