Blancher

The pre-blanched product enters through an upper hopper. An optional variable-flow vibrating conveyor can ensure continuous, uniform distribution. A cascade roller system removes the skin by mechanical friction. The product and detached skins then pass through an adjustable air stream that pneumatically separates them.
The skins are collected, aspirated and conveyed to the final discharge point, while the clean product continues to the next stage.

Depending on the selected configuration, the equipment can include an internal water or steam circuit for pre-cleaning and sanitising the machine interior.

Optional equipment includes an orbital sifter for washing and removing residual skin after peeling and an aspiration separator to maximise impurity removal.
