Room temperature horizontal cooler

The product enters the machine through the feed hopper, which is equipped with a minimum-level sensor and a manual gate for regulating the inlet flow. It is then conveyed on perforated trays by a drive system. Depending on the model, the machine may feature one or more tray levels, along which the product travels in alternating directions until it reaches the discharge hopper. This hopper is fitted with maximum- and minimum-level sensors to ensure safe operation.

Cooling is carried out by an overhead fan that draws in ambient air and forces it through the product, perpendicular to its direction of travel. This promotes uniform heat exchange and gradually reduces the product’s temperature before the
next stage of the process.
